 Hang on to your hat!! A wind advisory is in effect from Noon to 8 p.m. today for sustained winds of 10-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph.

That's according to 13WMAZ's meteorologist David Ernst.

Milledgeville Farmers' Market Opens in April

The Milledgeville Marketplace opens with a celebrations on Tuesday April 3rd from 4-7p.m., a Milledgeville Main Street and Downtown Development Authority news release says. 

That's at 222 E. Hancock Street in Downtown Milledgeville.

During the celebration, you'll find live entertainment featuring T. P. and Sandra Holloman, who are local bluegrass entertainers.

Central State Hospital to Test Tornado Alert Sirens

 

MILLEDGEVILLE, GA.--Central State Hospital is scheduled to run a test of the tornado alert sirens at 5 p.m. on February 3, 2012 and will be participating in a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday February 8, 2012.

CSH will be activating the Siren Alert System during these times.  The Siren Alarm System will sound for a one to two minute period and this will be done twice.  This will only be a drill.
