Wrestling Overload Event To Benefit Toys for Tots


Championship Wrestling Overload presents their annual Toys for Tots Fundraiser, Santa Slam 4 Saturday, Dec. 10 at Centennial Center.

Adult tickets are  $7 or $5 with a new unwrapped toy, kids 6-12 $3 and kids 5 & under are free with adult. All college students & military $4 with a valid ID. Doors will open at 7:30pm and Belltime is 8pm!

The newly vacated CWO Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a battle royal in which the stars will all battle it out until one man is left standing as the new CWO Heavyweight Champion.

Power Trip w/ KSL will face Fatality & Twisted w/ z97's Tony Taylor.

If Power Trip wins they gain control of z97's Winning Wednesday, however if Fatality & Twisted win Tony Taylor becomes the new Commisioner of CWO.

The 10th Annual Will Robinson Memorial run takes place Saturday, November 19, 2011.

The 1-Mile Fun Run Begins at 8:30 AMand the 5K Road Race Begins at 9:00 AM    The race is held by Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office & Georgia Military College Alumni Association

Buck Eubanks, from Milledgeville, caught a flathead catfish in Lake Sinclair.


The fish was caught Saturday, 11/12/11. Was weighed on certified scales - 36lbs 11 oz.

Witness signatures obtained and paperwork will be submitted to G.O.N.


Bluegrass Concert at Andalusia

Bluegrass Concert at Andalusia

The next Bluegrass concert at Andalusia happens Saturday, November 5, from 5- 8 p.m. 

Redline Express returns this year to provide several hours of bluegrass music. 

A group of volunteers will also be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, donated by Sodexo (Georgia College). 

You can bring your own picnic or purchase food after you arrive.  Bring chairs and flashlights!

Louis Kaduk will offer a guided nature walk on Lower Tobler Creek Trail at 4 p.m. before the music begins.  

Kaduk supervised the restoration of the pond and the construction of the nature trail. 

The one-mile hike will begin and end at the Lower Tobler Creek Trail sign next to the driveway. 

Each year since 2004, the Foundation has hosted a Bluegrass concert on the front lawn at Andalusia.

New Shooting Range Opens in Eatonton

New Shooting Range Opens in Eatonton


A new shooting range at Cedar Creek Wildlife Management Area will be available beginning Friday, October 14, 2011 for those interested in perfecting their target skills. 

That's according to a Georgia Department of Natural Resources news release.

While this is the first shooting range located at the Cedar Creek WMA, it is one of 17 shooting ranges currently available on public land in Georgia.

The new range is located in the Georgia Piedmont near Eatonton.

The Cedar Creek Shooting Range consists of a 10-position, 100-yard rifle/pistol range.
