Former Milledgeville Mortgage Company Employees Charged

Four former employees at a Milledgeville mortgage company were accused of stealing files and giving them to a new competitor in town.

Milledgeville Police Detective Wanda Holsey says four former Northside Mortgage employees were arrested last Thursday for allegedly taking the company's files and giving them to a new mortgage company in town.

She said Amy Budrys, Anthony Greer, and Jennifer F. McKenzie were all charged with theft by taking and computer trespassing. Deborah A. King has been charged with party to a crime of computer trespassing, she said.

According to Holsey, the four employees have been converting customers' files from July to the end of August.

Holsey says the owner of Northside Mortgage reported that on Sept. 1 the four employees quit with no notice, and moved to Dewitt Mortgage Company.
