Georgia College student seriously injured in bar fight | News
A Georgia College student is in serious but stable condition after a New Year's Eve fight.
That's according to Milledgeville police detective Scott Goodwin.
He said it apparently happened outside the Chops restaurant on South Wayne Street, downtown.
According to a police report, a person leaving the restaurant found Lamar Graham lying in the parking lot out back.
The report says Graham suffered face and head cuts, a skull fracture and possible brain bleed. He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Goodwin says Graham is 25 years old and lives in Milledgeville. He said Graham has been sedated and investigators have not been able to interview him.
Goodwin says investigators have a person of interest: a white male with a beard and dark hair., who was wearing a plaid shirt. He is 5-foot-10 to 6 feet with a medium frame.
Anyone with information on the case can call Milledgeville police at (478) 414-4000.
