Baldwin authorities say shooting death likely "domestic"

The Baldwin County sheriff's office says they're trying to find out who shot a man to death outside his home.

Captain Brad King says it happened around 8 p.m. Friday at 108 Selma Drive on the south side of Milledgeville. King says, investigators think they're dealing with what he calls a domestic case.

The victim, Francisco Lopez Castillo was shot at close range in the chest.

King says investigators believe he was not robbed and that Castillo was targeted. So far, they're not sure why.

Neighbors called 911, and officers found Castillo in his doorway. They don't believe the shooter entered the home.

He says Castillo was 33 yearsold, lived alone and worked as a landscaper

Anyone with information on the case can call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.

King said it's Baldwin County's first homicide since October 2012.

He said they are following up on some leads and physical evidence.
