$12K worth of iPads stolen from Milledgeville Walmart | Crime
Milledgeville Police are searching for two men who took $12,000 worth of iPads from Walmart Sunday.
They walked in separately around 1 a.m., met up in the back, took a hammer from the hardware section and then proceeded to smash the iPad display cases, Major John Davis says.
The two suspects, described as having shoulder-length dreadlocks and baseball caps, loaded up a cart and left.
An employee attempted to stop them, but they pushed past her.
They left in a newer model black Honda Civic or Accord.
Police say they are pursuing a couple of local leads.
