Police: Milledgeville Infant Dead 8-10 Hours Before Authorities Arrived | Crime
MILLEDGEVILLE - police said they believe the case in which a two-month-old child was killed could have been domestic violence that "went wrong."
The child, Makenzie Hartry, died on Sept. 6 in a Lincoln Street apartment.
She was found in a crib in a back room with trauma to the right frontal lobe, police said.
Investigators believe she was dead for about 8 to 10 hours before authorities arrived.
The baby's parents, Tamarus Hartry and Jessica Driskell, were arrested Friday and charged with felony murder and first-degree child cruelty.
