Middle-Georgia students 10 years and up are invited to audition for a talent showcase with a grand prize trip to Las Vegas to perform at the Las Vegas Defenders basketball game.

“Campus Club Milledgeville is a place that allows students to follow their dreams,” said Campus Club Milledgeville assistant director Toyia Barnes. “This opportunity gives them a peak into what possibilities are out there in the world.”

Earning the Runnerup spot, Milledgeville received a nod for Flannery O'Connor's life there, "forever assur[ing] its place on the Southern literary map."

The magazine mentions Andalusia and how it's still open to the public and Georgia College's literary journal, Art & Letters.

Garden & Gun named Hillsborough, North Carolina as the Best Literary Town for having "more critically acclaimed authors per capita than any zip code in the region."
