GC Theatre Department Presents "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change"

Georgia College Theatre Department is proud to present I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a musical comedy with lyrics and book by Joe DiPietro and music written by Jimmy Roberts.  With the tagline, "Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit," this play is sure to be one to which all people can relate. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a group of scenes connected by the central theme of relationships. Although each individual scene can stand alone, they follow the timeline of a relationship. The play begins with a first date and ends in raising children.  Though there are many characters throughout, this production will have a cast of only four showing their versatility. This production will kick off Wednesday, February 20ththough Saturday, February 23rd at 8pm and Sunday, February 24th at 2pm in Russell Auditorium.

The amazing Dr. Amy Pinney directs the talented cast for this musical. Dr. Wendy Mullen worked the cast’s musical magic to get them in tiptop shape for this production. Erin Borain and Zack Bradford were leads in last years The Wedding Singer and are sure to please once again. This is one you don’t want to miss!

Artistic Director and Chair of Theatre Karen Berman says, "Our students match up to professionals in their singing and acting skills and the play is hysterical!"
