Marlor House to exhibit “Works from Allied Arts Permanent Collection” | Arts & Culture
Allied Arts invites the public to view “Works from Allied Arts Permanent Collection” on display at the Marlor House now through Friday, August 1. Allied Arts permanent collection contains over 175 pieces of artwork by local, regional and nationally recognized visual artists. According to Program Coordinator, Brian Renko “This exhibit includes thirty four pieces done in a wide variety of media, styles and subject matter. I have included oil and water color paintings, photographs, sculpture and mixed media pieces in this showing of the collection.”
New artworks on display include an artist signed print titled “Prisoner Leaning on His Chains” by Francisco Goya and an etching by Fritz Eichenberg. Other artists represented in this exhibition include, Sara Finney, Betty Bivins Edwards, Cookie Noel and Sterling Everett.
The Marlor House and gallery is located at 201 North Wayne Street in downtown Milledgeville. Gallery hours are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday or by appointment.
