Calling all photographers! Here is the prospectus for Allied Arts annual BIG CLICK exhibition! Now in it's nineth year we hope you will enter your photographs for a chance to win an award.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Big Click is open to all adult artists (age 18 and over) living in Central Georgia who practice photography. Film, digital and digitally enhanced entries will be accepted. All works must be the original work of the artist. Works will be on display at the Marlor Art Center Sunday, December 6 - Friday, January 8, 2016.

AWARDS:

Awards will consist of a First Place prize of $100, a Second Place prize of $75 and a Third Place prize of $50. A Certificate(s) of Merit may be awarded if the juror(s) feels it is warranted. Award presentations will be made at a reception given in honor of the artists on Sunday, December 6 from 1 -3 p.m. at the Marlor Arts Center. Please do not call; Allied Arts staff will contact the winners.

JUROR:

The Juror(s) has the responsibility of awarding prizes and honorable mentions. All awards are the responsibility of the juror(s).

OFFICIAL ENTRY AND FEE:

The non-refundable entry fee is seventeen dollars ($17.00) for Friends of Allied Arts members and twenty dollars ($20.00) for non members. The entry fee entitles the artist to submit a maximum of three works. Identification labels must be attached to the back of each entry. The labels for identification are provided on this form. Photographs and entry fees should be brought together to the Marlor Arts Center. Entries will be received at the Marlor Arts Center at 201 North Wayne Street in Milledgeville -- ONLY between Monday, November 16 through Friday, November 20 from: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All checks should be made payable to "Allied Arts." Allied Arts reserves the right to reject any photograph.

SPONSORS:

The Big Click is sponsored by Milledgeville-Baldwin County Allied Arts with additional support from the Civic Woman's Club of Milledgeville for sponsoring the Sunday, December 6 opening reception.

SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS:

1. All photographs should be properly matted and framed. The juror(s) will consider "presentation of work" when making awards. All work must have hanging wire (no clips or saw tooth hangers.) Damaged, stained and otherwise marred framing and matting are cause for rejection.

2. All entries should have the identification label completed and attached to the entry when it is delivered.

LIABILITY:

The sponsors will handle the entries with all possible care; however, they will not be responsible for loss or damage to works while at the Marlor Center or in transit. Submission of an entry in The Big Click shall indicate an agreement on the part of the artist to all the conditions stated in this official prospectus.

RETURN OF WORK:

Works in The Big Click or works purchased during the show will be available for pickup January 11 - 15, 2015. Absolutely no works in the show will be released before January 11. All works must be picked up by Friday, January 15, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

We encourage artists to use this exhibition as an opportunity to promote their work, see what their peers are producing and offer their work for sale, if they so desire. A 20% commission will be charged for sales of photographs promoted by Allied Arts during this exhibition.
